approaching sabbath

in the filthy post-vedic religion of buddhism there is an equivocable notion to shabbat, or sabbath, called uposatha. this is the day upon which the trve unholy blasphemers are fingered for recanting their misdeeds, uposatha is described as the day of cleansing the defiled mind.

as black metal powerlifting skinheads, our day of rest comes every other day. it is important to rest the body as well as the mind between strenuous lifting periods as our bodies have time to absorb the most unholy and blasphemic rays of the black sun, as well as grow new muscle from the stretched taught and torn ligaments of yesterday.

today, my day of sabbath, i proceeded to play every Black Sabbath record I own in succession as well as ingesting hearty meals to supplement my mental meal.

seen here is a delicious meal of collard greens sauteed in a mix of sweet onion, garlic, carrots and mandarin orange. a coke-serving-sized pinch of brown sugar tops it off although the mandarin really cuts out any "collard" flavor that some aren't partial to.

accompagnied by delicious cornbread with a healthy stabbing of vanilla extract and an axewound's laceration of golden raisins. if you were a real pro or previously ate at the finest restaurant ever run (atomic eggplant) you know that one should always use real ground cooked corn, although I copped out and used dry fake-ass cornmeal.

I am penning this last recipe from a precipice poised over one of chicago's finest graveyards for lifting, eyeing tomorrow's weightlifting routine, although my wireless network connection is poor, perhaps I need to brutally install an 802.11g wireless repeater in one of the blackened corpse-fed graveyard trees.

goodnight, and good hunting!
